PURCHASING TICKETS

Only CONFIRMED groups may compete. To be CONFIRMED, each group must APPLY, receive an ACCEPTANCE email, and then purchase either a Discount Weekend Pass (strongly suggested) or a Weekend Pass, or a VIP Pass for each attendee. For competitors who will compete in the HS Competition and go to classes, but will not attend any other concerts (ACA-IDOL, PRO SHOW 1, PRO SHOW 2, PRO SHOW 3/South Asian Competition), you may purchase a ClassPass.

ClassPasses are the least expensive pass. They were designed to help provide access for people of all means.  They grant access to all classes on all days. They allow access to the Spotlight Showcases. They allow ACCEPTED competitors to participate in the HS Competition or ACA-IDOL.

However, ClassPasses do NOT guarantee access to ANY MainStage show, including the HS Competition Finals. For guaranteed access, you must purchase a Discount Weekend Pass or individual tickets. (You may also purchase VIP or Full Weekend Passes.)

Music Educators: SingStrong is Aidable through BOCES Arts in Education.  (See info on Ticket Page)

Fans who wish to cheer on our HS competitors should  purchase individual tickets to the Saturday 2PM show to see the final HS groups compete. They can also purchase VIP or Weekend Passes. Note: This show often sells out.

SOUNDCHECKS

All groups will be shown the mic set-up and told which mics are appropriate for bass, vocal percussion, leads, duets, etc. These will be WIRELESS MICS.

Each CONFIRMED group will make mic requests within the HS Competition INFORMATION FORM . Those requests which are approved by our engineer will be available for the HS Competition Finals.

While performing on sound systems is a challenge, it is also a fantastic educational experience that helps prepare young singers for real-world performances. Our sound engineers are highly experienced at mixing a cappella groups, our sound system is first rate, and your judges are instructed to focus on the group's performance, not the sound engineer's performance.

COACHING

After all members have purchased Weekend Passes (or Class Passes if necessary), groups may request a coaching here.
